Every minute 24 hours of video is being uploaded to YouTube! That’s a hell of a lot of crap but recently I stumbled upon a fantastic BBC produced documentary about the German krautrock scene. I really dig a lot of the krautrock artists and especially bands like Neu! and Can. This documentary is highly recommendable also if you’re not into the German artists developing after a war and in a divided country. Here’s the wiki about krautrock.
The documentary is uploaded in 6 episodes and here’s the 1st:
Please note that the 6th and last episode is without sound which basicly makes it worthless. I believe it has something to do with a major label claiming some rights for a 5 seconds long sound bite… But nevermind, the first 50 minutes is fine and worth watching anyway.
